The FBAW 2018 was held on March 7-8, 2018, at the American University of Sharjah. A two-day event participated by academics, researchers, scholars, experts, and family business owners from and beyond the MENA region.
More than 30 researchers hailing from 17 countries participated in the event; the Academic Day focused on contextualizing family business in the Arab world and understanding the social, cultural, economic, and political contexts that impact family businesses. The Business Family Day highlighted how family businesses addressed and overcome their external and internal challenges and create opportunities for growth and innovation in the future.
